ABOUT ME!

Sarah was born and raised in Connecticut and developed a passion for performing at a young age. Asking her parents if she could take dance classes, she started performing at the age of 2. She attended Sacred Heart University and graduated summa cum laude with a BA in Media Arts (Film/Television) and a minor in dance- also earning the Gold Medal of Excellence in her major. During her time there, Sarah was apart of the dance company and theatre arts program at SHU where she received the Triple Threat Award, was featured in a music video, and performed in a choreography showcase in New York City!

 

Sarah is trained in all styles of dance including tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and ballet. Along with dance, Sarah is a trained singer and musical theatre performer and has been in musicals such as Thoroughly Modern Millie, Fiddler on the Roof, and in SHU's Theatre Arts program she was cast in In The Heights, Hair, and Chess.

 

Sarah also loves to travel- having been to Dingle, Ireland for a 2 week study abroad program and Bari, Italy to dance for two summers at the international dance Workshop, World Dance Movement where she received two scholarships.

 

After graduating college Sarah started teaching and choreographing at Thrive: The Essence of Dance in Monroe, CT as well as subbing and giving private lessons across the state.

Sarah's passion, dedication, and love for performing has stayed ever since her first dance class, and continues to work hard, grow, and enjoy this amazing journey!

Lastly, some fun facts about Sarah is she loves to laugh and make others laugh, she has a deep appreciation of films and television, and believes you must do what makes you happy!
